Job summary

You will collaborate with Purchasing, Manufacturing Engineering, and Production teams to ensure timely sourcing and material availability for multiple factory cells, while upholding quality and cost targets. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business management, logistics, or supply management preferred.
• Five+ years of material planning experience in a mid-volume discrete machining and assembly environment.
• CPIM certification is a plus.
• Experience in a machine shop environment and kanban implementation.
• Knowledge of ISO 9000 quality systems.
• Strong interpersonal and cross-functional teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Release work orders using MRP to support the Master Production Schedule.
• Manage material shortages and coordinate with buyers for timely procurement.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and validate material locations.
• Lead production readiness activities and resolve constraints.
• Coordinate material flow with handlers and outside processing partners.
• Monitor KPIs and drive corrective actions within assigned areas.
• Leverage ERP, Power BI, and data analytics to identify trends and drive improvements.
