Job summary

Matheson Tri-Gas is seeking a Planner responsible for production planning and forecasting to ensure smooth material flow from the plant to customers. The role requires generating transfer orders from forecasts, managing inventory, and collaborating with cross-functional teams across the organization.

The planner will lead planning meetings, oversee accuracy of records for ISO 9001:2015, and work with the Emergency Response Team to coordinate urgent shipments while maintaining high customer

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Management or related fields.
• 5 plus years of experience in Operations, Inventory Management, Sales or Customer Service-related field.
• At least 2 years of prior experience with shipping in a distribution environment.
• Proficiency in operating forklifts and other material handling equipment (valid forklift certification is a plus).

Responsibilities

• Generate transfer orders based on customer forecasts, current inventory levels, and established lead times.
• Lead cross-functional teams to ensure timely deliveries.
• Coordinate emergency situations with major accounts and Safety Personnel.
• Provide weekly inventory reports for major accounts.
• Lead weekly Planning Meetings and attend weekly Production Meetings.
• Maintain documentation for Site ISO 9001:2015 certification.
