The Column Production Planner will oversee all production activities under the direction of the Distillation Process Manager. Duties include creating and managing production schedules, ensuring timely delivery of products, optimizing resource allocation (labor, materials, equipment), maintaining organized inventory level and final product blend tracking, and coordinating with various departments to meet production goals.
This role partners closely with operations, commercial teams, and shift leads to assign work, schedule equipment usage, maintain consistent feedstock flow, and coordinate final product blends.
The planner analyzes demand forecasts, customer orders, and inventory levels to optimize production schedules and proactively communicates potential stock shortages or excess. They collaborate with logistics to manage inbound and outbound transportation and address scheduling risks before they impact customers.
This position supports the implementation and improvement of tracking systems to maintain accurate records and full product traceability. The role also monitors key performance metrics such as on-time delivery and schedule adherence, driving continuous improvement through data‑driven decisions.
The planner promotes a safe, professional, and team‑focused work environment while ensuring compliance with GMP, ISO 9001, and internal quality standards. Responsibilities include preparing blend documentation, maintaining production records, preventing cross‑contamination, and ensuring all products meet regulatory and customer specifications.
