Job summary

Mason designs, manufactures, and markets highly engineered products and systems for aerospace and defense markets. The Production Control Coordinator will supervise with management guidance, supporting training, planning, and directing work to meet goals.

You will work with MRP, scheduling, lean initiatives, and cross‑functional teams to ensure on-time delivery, inventory accuracy, and efficient production cadence.

Qualifications

  • MRP logic, scheduling, capacity planning, BOMs, and product family strategies.
  • Knowledge of configuration management.
  • Team player with strong judgment and analytical skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Understanding of metrics and performance indicators.
  • Strong leadership with ability to train others.

Responsibilities

  • Plan production work orders based on MRP requirements and customer specs.
  • Review and release work orders to production.
  • Plan and reschedule open orders to meet demand and capacity.
  • Identify shortages and follow up with buyers/planners.
  • Proactively communicate issues to management.
  • Maintain MRP data integrity and inventory accuracy.
  • Participate in lean initiatives (kanban, one-piece flow).
  • Assist with capacity reports and data-driven decisions.
  • Collaborate with service, manufacturing, quality, and engineering to meet deadlines.
  • Support Sales & Operations Planning processes.
