Job summary

enGen is seeking a product owner to lead the development and management of an analytics product within the organization, serving as the primary liaison between agile cross-functional teams and customers to translate business needs into actionable user stories.

The role emphasizes prioritization, backlog health, and alignment with strategy, with responsibilities across roadmap, release planning, and collaboration with solution architects and vendors to deliver business value.

Qualifications

• 3 years experience in Product Ownership or related fields
• 3 years experience working with external clients and fostering positive relationships
• Agile certification from a known vendor preferred

Responsibilities

• Contributes to streamlining the execution of program priorities while maintaining the conceptual and technical integrity of the features or components for the team.
• Manages, understands and supports prioritized Portfolio and Value Stream work by collaborating with stakeholders to breakdown features into user stories and translate product vision into requirements.
• Maintain a well groomed backlog to support optimal team allocation for multiple Sprints and ensure acceptance criteria and definition of done are met.
• Responsible for acceptance of stories as Done, ensuring developed and tested with defined criteria.
• Collaborate with stakeholders in creating, maintaining, and communicating product vision, strategy, and roadmap; represent product in governance meetings.
• Collaborate with external vendors to align roadmaps and ensure delivery and scope alignment.
• Contribute to product value discussions and release planning; develop and maintain product delivery roadmap.
