Job summary

Dover Corp seeks a Product Manager for OPW CES to translate customer needs into prioritized roadmaps and bring products to market. The role focuses on leading cross-functional teams, shaping NPD, and managing profitability in a fast-paced environment.

You will engage with customers, analyze markets, develop compelling value propositions, and drive product lifecycle from concept through launch across multiple sites including Elon, NC. Onsite at Elon, NC with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, engineering or business is required.
• Five years progressively responsible product management experience.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work across multiple functional disciplines.
• Experience in a continuous improvement environment and process orientation.

Responsibilities

• Manage P&L including strategic planning, annual strategy deployment and budget.
• Actively manage financial performance of product lines across market segments, including bookings and gross profitability.
• Lead cross-functional New Product Development (NPD) teams and ensure market requirements are met from concept to launch.
• Gather voice of customer and business, lead market discussions in Product Planning Group (PPG) meetings.
• Identify customer pain points and translate into valuable product features for attractive segments.
• Perform market and customer insight research and translate into diagnostic solutions.
• Represent the company by visiting customers to solicit feedback on products and services.
• Analyze competitive landscape and develop action plans to grow portfolio and market share.
• Develop pricing strategies to maximize profitability and market competitiveness.
• Support development and execution of Marketing plans including product launches and tools.
• Maintain effective communication with customers and internal stakeholders (Commercial, R&D, Operations).
