Job summary

OPW, a Dover company, seeks a Product Manager to lead the OPW CES product vision from concept to market. Onsite at Elon, NC, you will manage P&L across market segments, drive strategic plans, and coordinate with Sales, R&D, Operations, and Finance to translate customer needs into clear product definitions.

You will perform market research, develop business cases for NPD, maintain roadmaps, and work on pricing, positioning, and launches.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, engineering, or business; MBA a plus.
At least five years of progressive product management experience.
Ability to translate market needs into concrete product requirements and pricing strategies.

Responsibilities

Manage P&L including strategic planning, annual strategy deployment and budget.
Lead cross-functional New Product Development and ensure adherence to market and product requirements.
Gather voice of customer and lead market discussions at Product Planning Group (PPG) meetings to assess and manage risk and tradeoffs.
Develop as a customer champion to identify pain points, user needs and ensure our products solve valuable problems.
Perform market and customer insight research to deeply understand customer problems and translate these with a cross-functional team into diagnostic solutions.
Represent the company by visiting customers to solicit feedback on products and services.
Develop and present business cases for NPD, driving the file and roadmaps, defining market requirements and product definitions.
