Job summary

Prysmian Cables and Systems Usa in Highland Heights, KY is seeking a Product Manager for Network Components. You will monitor product group performance, manage pricing, inventory, and cross-functional coordination with inside/outside sales, engineering, supply chain and operations.

The role requires strong Excel skills, data mining and forecasting, and a track record of driving profitability through pricing and cost analysis. Occasional travel to customer sites and shows is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Supply Chain or Finance.
• 5+ years of experience in product management, sales, or supply chain.
• Strong Excel skills and data analysis abilities.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams in a matrix organization.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate quotation activity for applicable product categories.
• Implement pricing strategies aligned with overall business goals.
• Create and maintain competitive pricing databases and reports.
• Support Inside Sales with cost/engineering/manufacturing information for quotations.
• Analyze product cost, pricing and mix for quotations and drive the quotation process.
• Perform profitability analyses to maximize market contribution.
• Review and report on customer complaints to identify improvement opportunities.
• Monitor monthly service metrics with Supply Chain to meet customer expectations.
• Manage inventory quality with Sales and Supply Chain; address surplus and obsolescence.
• Forecast units, revenue, and contribution margin for products.
• Work with outside sales on customer and market strategies.
• Provide technical and commercial support to sales regions.
• Coordinate new product development with Engineering.
• Oversee P&L, annual planning and long-term strategy.
