Job summary

Prysmian seeks an Application/Specification Engineer for the Industrial Specialties Wire & Harness team in Highland Heights, KY. You will transform customer specifications into manufacturable solutions, supporting the full product lifecycle from quotes through launch and portfolio management.

The role requires detail orientation, teamwork, and a passion for fast-paced engineering environments with close collaboration across engineering, manufacturing, and commercial teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings, specs, and documentation.
• Excellent analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication across functions.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Review drawings, specs, and documentation to develop new products meeting requirements.
• Create and maintain Bills of Materials for quotes and releases.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product Management, Manufacturing, and Customer Service for technical support.
• Support ECNs and engineering change processes.
• Serve as a technical liaison between customers and internal operations.
