Job summary

Texas Health and Human Services is seeking a Product Strategy Analyst to work with Medicaid/CHIP IT applications, collaborating with Product Managers and the Agile Lead to craft vision, roadmap, and backlogs. You will perform analysis, guide policy interpretation, and coordinate with business users and vendors to ensure IT deliverables meet agency directives.

The role emphasizes planning, backlog refinement, and alignment with PI objectives, with telework eligibility and office presence

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university; experience may be substituted.
• Three or more years’ experience in business analysis, project/product management or related field
• Experience working in an agile environment

Responsibilities

• Supports analysis and roadmapping activities to develop a product backlog with HHSC stakeholders.
• Documents risk factors, dependencies, enablers and mitigation strategies.
• Coordinates with vendor discovery to refine features; supports enabler stories, wireframes and POCs.
• Mentors and directs Medicaid/CHIP Applications teams regarding implementation.
• Ensures PI objectives align with the vision and roadmap; supports delivery activities as needed.
