Nightwing in Sterling, VA seeks a Procurement and Vendor Specialist to manage diverse procurement activities, from rapid purchases to complex subcontracts, aligning with program goals. You will collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to ensure timely delivery and compliance.

Minimum 2+ years in vendor management and procurement within government contracting, with strong MS Office, ERP, and FAR knowledge.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in vendor management, procurement, contracts, or subcontracts.
• Experience supporting procurement activities within government contracting environments.
• Strong ability to develop and execute procurement and acquisition strategies.
• Experience preparing purchase requests and supporting SSOW development.

Responsibilities

• Lead and facilitate project coordination sessions with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
• Assess project execution goals and develop procurement strategies aligned with customer satisfaction objectives.
• Execute procurement and acquisition strategies as part of a cross-functional supply chain team.
• Prepare purchase requests for materials and support the development of SSOWs.
• Serve as a liaison between program teams and procurement, contracts, and other stakeholders.
• Manage procurement activities independently while contributing within a team environment.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Contribute to overall procurement and project team success through collaboration and accountability.
