Job summary

Brightpath Associates LLC in Snow Hill, NC is seeking a procurement professional to run daily MRP reports, purchase materials, and support the production schedule. You will manage suppliers for on-time delivery and quality, negotiate pricing and terms, and source new suppliers as needed.

Responsibilities include collaborating with accounting on GL coding for non-inventory purchases, resolving returns issues, and maintaining accurate records. Strong communication and math skills are required.

Qualifications

• General knowledge of purchasing policies, processes, and procedures.
• High School Diploma (required).

Responsibilities

• Run daily MRP reports and purchase materials in support of production schedule for all purchasing parts other than Outside Processing and Supporting Components per procedure.
• Manage your suppliers to assure on time delivery and consistent quality.
• Negotiate with your suppliers to ensure optimal pricing.
• Negotiate Terms with your suppliers.
• Source and certify new suppliers with the assistance of the Procurement Agent.
• Resolve issues related to inventory returns, and replacements.
• Negotiate best vendor terms, pricing and delivery based on specific budget and schedule requirements.
• Work with accounting to correctly use accurate general ledger accounts for non-inventory purchases.
• Other duties as required.
