Job summary
Medline Industries, LP seeks a procurement professional to analyze and execute purchase orders with international and domestic vendors, directing expeditors to ensure timely supply.
The role involves preparing requisitions in SAP and Coupa, forecasting demand, negotiating production capacities, and maintaining accurate MRP parameters. A Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years' experience are required, with opportunities for growth and competitive benefits.
Qualifications
- Ability to communicate across internal departments and external vendors.
- Experience with SAP and Coupa is required.
- Proficient Excel skills including formulas, charts, and formatting.
- Experience in procurement planning and MRP concepts.
- Strong numeracy and problem solving.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and process requisitions and purchase orders in SAP and Coupa.
- Forecast future item consumption and plan POs to meet demand.
- Negotiate capacity and coordinate supplier shipments.
- Monitor MRP/forecast and alert staff to supply issues.
- Review reports to ensure inventory and service levels.
- Coordinate with expeditors to meet shipment and documentation.
- Review sourcing arrangements for procurement.
- Inform senior management and provide corrective solutions.
