The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least 5 years of procurement experience in manufacturing. Proficiency with ERP systems and strong communication skills are essential in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field required.
• 5+ years of procurement/purchasing/sourcing experience in manufacturing.
• Experience negotiating supplier pricing, contracts, and delivery schedules.
• Strong understanding of procurement processes and supplier relationship management.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, Epicor) or similar.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Source and procure indirect materials, equipment, and services to support operations.
• Solicit and evaluate supplier quotations, negotiate pricing and delivery terms.
• Create, issue, and manage purchase orders with accuracy and timeliness.
• Monitor supplier performance, delivery commitments, and quality metrics.
• Develop supplier relationships to support long-term objectives.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Planning, Warehouse, Finance and Quality teams to support production schedules.
