Job summary

Siemens Energy is seeking a Procurement Specialist to execute procurement strategies for assigned commodities and support internal customers through timely communication and tactical execution. You will work with global teams on improvement initiatives and develop expertise in expediting, negotiation, and supplier management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or related field.
• 5+ years experience in Engineering, Supply Chain Management or related field.
• Experience with SAP PD2/OPP.
• Strong data analysis skills.
• MS Tools with advanced Excel and PowerPoint knowledge.
• Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the purchase of parts and components.
• Pulling, compiling, and analyzing engineering drawings and specifications.
• Review, analyze and optimize applicable project data.
• Develop strategies for your supply base to optimize performance and savings opportunities.
• Create, negotiate and manage Supplier contracts to achieve Siemens Energy Business requirements.
