Lockheed Martin Corporation in New Jersey seeks a procurement professional to source, negotiate and purchase machinery, equipment, raw materials and services essential to operations. You will analyze supplier performance, price trends and compliance with LM acquisition procedures (LMAP) and FAR/DFARs.

Responsibilities include evaluating proposals, selecting suppliers, maintaining records and assisting with RFPs and bid packages while collaborating with internal teams in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or related discipline required.
• Proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong communication skills (written, verbal, and presentations).
• Creative problem solver with critical thinking.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-task environment.
• Strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Sources, negotiates and purchases machinery, equipment, tools, raw material, packaging materials, parts, services, and/or supplies necessary for operation of an organization.
• Monitors performance of suppliers and analyzes price trends and manufacturing processes.
• Reviews proposals, negotiates prices, selects or recommends suppliers, and maintains records.
• May prepare RFPs and bid packages.
