Job summary

State of West Virginia's Division of Administrative Services is seeking a Procurement Specialist to handle full‑performance purchasing for various state agencies. Under general supervision, you will write, review, publish, evaluate and award bids, and monitor contracts to ensure compliance with terms.

You will also assist with market research, coordinate delivery of goods and services, and maintain contract tracking.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university required.
• Two years of purchasing experience in a centralized purchasing function required.
• Master's degree may substitute for up to two years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Execute full-performance level purchasing for a variety of goods and services for state agencies.
• Write, review, publish, evaluate and award bids within assigned timeframes.
• Monitor and maintain awarded contracts and ensure compliance with terms and conditions.
• Maintain contract tracking system and assist with market research for sourcing.
• Coordinate delivery of goods and services with customer agencies and facilities.
