Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal in the United States is seeking a Manager, Supply Chain: Procurement & Sourcing to lead and deliver project work streams for complex client engagements in private equity, focusing on procurement and supply-chain improvement. You will work closely with private equity teams to design and implement creative business solutions that drive value for portfolio companies.

The role requires deep sourcing expertise, ability to develop and implement sourcing strategies, manage supplier

Qualifications

• 10+ years of combined consulting and/or industry operating experience.
• MBA preferred.
• Experience working for or with private equity sponsors and portfolio companies.
• Deep industry expertise in direct materials and procurement domains.

Responsibilities

• Gain a comprehensive understanding of a client’s procurement organization and sourcing capabilities.
• Develop and implement sourcing strategies aligned with growth and financial objectives across forecasting and logistics.
• Develop and manage sourcing and procurement efforts, including supplier identification and negotiations.
• Lead supplier identification, approval, contract/pricing negotiations, and vendor relations.
• Develop implementation plans to drive procurement and sourcing changes.
• Conduct analysis and lead teams on project scope as required.
