Job summary

Saudi Aramco is seeking a Support Materials Procurement Staff in Houston, TX to manage procurement planning, execution, and supplier negotiations for cost savings and value-added services across MSG/PG areas. The role emphasizes supply chain integrity, strategic sourcing, and trade compliance in a global environment.

Responsibilities include turning requisitions into efficient procurement instruments, analyzing total costs, and collaborating with suppliers to meet engineering and inspection

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in SCM, Purchasing, Materials Management, Business, Operations Management, Engineering, Computer Science, MIS or closely related Degrees.
• CPSM or CSCP desirable; CPIM desirable. Certifications from ISM/APICS/CIPS acceptable.
• Minimum four years of related Procurement experience.
• Must communicate clearly in English.
• Proficient with business software applications.

Responsibilities

• Writes procurement plans and awards recommendations after management approval.
• Conducts negotiation meetings and uses cost analysis to maximize value from suppliers.
• Evaluates total cost of acquisition and ownership for materials and services.
• Processes requisitions into procurement instruments to supply cost-efficient goods and services.
• Engages in strategic sourcing to lower total supply chain costs.
• Ensures trade compliance for all commodity inputs.
• Supports procurement tasks under P&L management and suggests improvements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
