Job summary

Econolite is seeking a detail-oriented Buyer Planner to support day-to-day procurement and material planning in a fast-paced manufacturing environment in Anaheim, CA. You will manage MRP recommendations, supplier relationships, and purchase orders to ensure material availability and on-time delivery.

The role calls for a Bachelor's in Supply Chain or related field with 2–5 years of procurement experience, ERP/MRP proficiency, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Admin, or related field; equivalent experience.
• 2–5 years in procurement, purchasing, material planning, or supply chain.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience using ERP/MRP to support purchasing, planning, and inventory.
• Experience with Dynamics D365 or similar ERP systems preferred.
• APICS/ASCM certification or related training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Execute daily procurement to support production schedules.
• Review MRP planned orders, validate suggestions, and act on purchasing needs.
• Manage high volumes of parts and supplier relationships for timely replenishment.
• Generate, maintain, and expedite purchase orders to avoid disruptions.
• Communicate order status, delivery commitments, and risks with suppliers.
• Proactively manage PO backlogs and drive supplier accountability.
