- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- SCM certification (APICS CPIM/CSCP) preferred.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain material requirement plans from production schedules.
- Source and negotiate with suppliers for pricing, quality, and delivery terms.
- Monitor inventory levels and adjust purchasing plans to avoid stockouts or excess.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and logistics to match material needs.
- Track supplier performance and address delays, quality issues, or discrepancies.
- Maintain procurement records and generate reports for decisions.
- Stay informed on market trends and supply risks to manage procurement strategies.
