Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Procurement Manager to lead a team through the acquisition process of materials and services in an onsite Falls Church, VA location. You will report on performance metrics, drive process improvements, and ensure compliance across procurement activities.

Responsibilities include supervising procurement staff, coordinating with program management and legal, and developing sourcing strategies to optimize value and timeliness for funded and unfunded requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; four years’ experience can substitute for each year of the four-year degree.
• Ten years’ experience in supply chain management or related field.
• Minimum three years management experience in purchasing.
• Active SECRET security clearance or ability to obtain TS within eight months; TS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement and supply chain management functions to meet performance requirements.
• Develop and enforce procedures to improve efficiency and cost effectiveness.
• Ensure compliance with federal policies for acquisition of materials and services.
• Manage budget, schedules, and performance metrics.
• Direct and develop procurement staff; oversee training and recruitment.
• Coordinate with program management, operations, quality, and legal to align goals.
