Job summary

South Carolina DMV is seeking a motivated Procurement Manager for the Procurement Office at Headquarters in Blythewood, SC. You will oversee daily procurement tasks, contract management, and staff supervision, ensuring compliance with procurement laws and agency policies.

The role requires strong communication, discretion, and the ability to work with Excel, Word, and Outlook. Reporting to the Procurement Officer, you’ll handle varied duties and potential overnight training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and experience in procurement and contracts; an equivalent combination may be accepted with approval.

Responsibilities

• Ensure daily procurement duties and contract management as directed by the Procurement Officer.
• Manage procurement functions of projects and contracts and prepare related documents.
• Supervise Procurement Department staff.
• Act as Agency P-Card Administrator as directed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Procurement Officer.
