Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking a Procurement and Logistics Specialist to support facilities operations. You will facilitate procurement workflows, manage POs, negotiate terms with internal customers and external suppliers, and drive cost efficiencies while coordinating with 3PLs and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in professional procurement for facilities operations and maintenance.
• Ability to negotiate terms with internal customers and external suppliers.
• Strong PO lifecycle and vendor management experience.
• Familiarity with SAP and internal procurement systems.
• Detail oriented and good with data/reporting.

Responsibilities

• Procurement workflow facilitation, vendor management, negotiation of pricing and terms, and regular reporting to management.
• Purchase order lifecycle management.
• Facilitate resolution of PO invoicing issues and shipping/order discrepancies.
• Work with internal customers to understand requirements, define scopes of work (SOW), and drive cost efficiencies.
• Inventory management; analyze and understand consumption trends.
• Support procurement systems and processes including internal customer support and guidance.
• Participate in meetings with suppliers.
• Supplier quality management.
• Work with our logistics providers and process invoices/manage billings.
• Assist with warehousing activities to support stakeholders.
• Assist in the achievement of company objectives and KPIs.
• Update business practices and participate in audits as necessary.
• Follow and enforce rules and procedures to support new systems and processes for indirect procurement.
