Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking a Procurement and Logistics Specialist to support Facilities Operations and Maintenance and logistics billing. You will negotiate, manage POs, and optimize cost efficiency while working with internal customers and suppliers on SAP-based systems.

The role requires 1–3 years of related experience, a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, and proficiency with ERP systems and MS Office.

• 1 - 3 years of related experience.
• Experience with an ERP and proficiency with inventory management and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Procurement workflow facilitation, vendor management, negotiation of pricing and terms, and reporting to management.
• Purchase order lifecycle management.
• Resolve PO invoicing issues and shipping/order discrepancies.
• Understand requirements, define scopes of work (SOW), and drive cost efficiencies.
• Inventory management; analyze consumption trends.
• Support procurement systems and internal customer guidance.
• Participate in meetings with suppliers.
• Supplier quality management.
• Collaborate with logistics providers and process invoices/billings.
• Assist with warehousing activities for stakeholders.
• Support the achievement of company objectives and KPIs.
• Follow and improve new systems and processes for indirect procurement.

Position Summary

This is a position within the Infrastructure and Indirect Procurement department reporting to Supervisor/Manager. The Procurement and Logistics Specialist will be responsible for supporting and executing on professional procurement responsibilities (detailed below) for parts related to Facilities Operations and Maintenance Group, and Logistics billing. This includes negotiation, working with internal customers and external suppliers to reach mutually agreeable and cost-efficient business agreements. Role requires the ability to successfully manage relationships both externally (with vendor, 3PL, etc.) and internally. The successful candidate will be detail oriented, organized, and comfortable working with systems (SAP, internal procurement systems).

Role And Responsibilities

Here’s What You’ll Be Responsible For:

• Procurement workflow facilitation, vendor management, negotiation of pricing and terms, and regular reporting to management.

Skills And Qualifications

Here’s what you’ll need:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred.
• 1 - 3 years of related experience.
• Experience with an ERP and overall proficiency with inventory management and MS Office.

The current base salary range for this role is between $65,000 - $84,000. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience. Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors to include organizational and individual performance
