Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking a Buyer responsible for all aspects of the production equipment MRO procurement, purchase order lifecycle management, demand forecasting and inventory planning, and negotiating supply agreements with strategic suppliers.

The role requires driving cost savings, tracking procurement KPIs, and collaborating with Engineering and other stakeholders in a fast-paced environment to bring leading-edge technology to the US market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations, Business Analytics or a related field.
• 7+ years of procurement / supply-chain experience.
• Hands on work with an ERP, SAP preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent collaboration, communication, and time-management skills.

• Purchase order lifecycle management.

• Track and report Procurement-related KPIs.
• Interface with Engineering & other stakeholders.
