Job summary

Koenig & Bauer US, Inc. is seeking a Strategic Procurement Specialist to develop and manage a high-performing supplier network across the United States.

The role focuses on building a resilient domestic supply base and then qualifying premier regional partners for global integration, while coordinating with Global Category Managers. The position requires travel regionally in the US and internationally, typically up to 15-25%, and reports to the COO with a standard Monday–Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• Education requirement: Bachelor’s or Master’s in a relevant field.
• Experience: 3+ years in strategic sourcing, category management, or procurement.
• Proficiency with ERP (SAP MM/S4HANA) and digital procurement tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop regional sourcing strategies aligned with global procurement.
• Lead supplier audits, assessments, and negotiations.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and Global Procurement teams.
• Ensure on-time delivery, quality standards, and cost optimization.
