Job summary

KLA is seeking a hands-on Senior Buyer to lead a US-based procurement team for USOPs components and spares. You will drive PO execution, supplier relationships, and strategic initiatives to reduce lead times and costs.

You’ll partner with production planning, engineering, and finance to optimize inventory and resolve obsolescence, while mentoring staff to grow skills and capabilities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in supply chain operations and improvements in complex manufacturing.
• Experience leading teams and driving cost reductions.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel; experience with BI tools is a plus.
• Ability to handle ambiguity and implement innovative solutions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a team of buyers responsible for procuring USOPs components and spares.
• Manage purchase orders, enforce compliance and lead KPI initiatives (quality, on-time delivery, cost).
• Develop strategic plans to address delays, obsolescence, and inventory optimization.
• Collaborate with production planning, supply chain, and finance to minimize variances.
• Lead continuous improvement through coaching and data-driven decisions.
