Job summary

Ace Electric is seeking a Purchasing Manager to lead centralized procurement across all divisions. You will develop strategic purchasing processes, manage project buyouts, and collaborate with PMs, Operations and Finance to optimize costs.

Requirements include a Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field, 5+ years in strategic purchasing for electrical projects, and 3+ years in leadership. Proficiency with Excel, Power BI, and ERP systems; some travel to sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of strategic purchasing experience in electrical construction.
• Minimum 3 years in a leadership or management role.
• Experience with field electrical installation preferred.
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead centralized purchasing across all Ace Electric divisions.
• Develop procurement strategies to leverage company buying.
• Manage project buyouts with PMs and Division Ops.
• Create standardized purchasing procedures across divisions.
• Analyze procurement performance for cost reductions.
• Establish procurement metrics and reporting.
• Support project teams with material planning and buyouts.
• Identify long‑lead equipment and critical path items.
• Negotiate pricing and manage supplier relationships.
• Maintain procurement records, dashboards, and BI tools.
