Job summary

ThermalWorks is seeking a Procurement Manager to lead day‑to‑day vendor management and sourcing intelligence for reliable supply chain performance. You will partner with Operations to manage supplier relationships, track pricing and lead times, and support cost decisions.

Remote US role with up to 20% travel. You’ll drive PO lifecycle, onboarding, and cross‑functional collaboration to ensure timely, cost‑effective sourcing for cooling system solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in SCM or related field; professional experience may substitute.
• 5–10 years procurement/supply chain in manufacturing; multi-site/region experience preferred.
• Experience managing full PO lifecycle and supplier relationships; strong data skills.
• ERP/PLM systems familiarity; international sourcing and Incoterms knowledge beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary day‑to‑day contact for suppliers and contract manufacturers.
• Establish regular supplier communication cadences and reviews.
• Onboard vendors with data, terms, and compliance documentation.
• Resolve day‑to‑day supplier issues across order lifecycle and pricing disputes.
• Maintain supplier relationships under commercial pressure and negotiate effectively.
• Track pricing and lead times; identify alternate sources to mitigate risk.
• Support quotes with accurate cost and lead time data for engineering and commercial teams.
• Own PO lifecycle and master data in ERP/PLM environments; assist system transitions.
• Collaborate across Operations, Finance, Quality, and Compliance; travel up to 20%.
