Job summary

Vantage Data Centers is looking for a Director of Mechanical Procurement to oversee global category strategy and supplier ecosystem in air and liquid cooling technologies. You will work with various teams to ensure alignment with design standards and performance governance.

This remote position is open to candidates in several U.S. locations such as Denver and Phoenix. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field and 5+ years experience in sourcing mechanical systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in category management or sourcing within mechanical systems, HVAC, or capital equipment.
• Strong negotiation, cost modeling, and supplier management expertise.
• Understanding of commissioning, acceptance testing, and product lifecycle requirements for mechanical infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Build and execute global category strategy for air and liquid cooling infrastructure.
• Lead sourcing and negotiations for mechanical equipment.
• Drive total cost of ownership improvements across energy efficiency.
