Job summary

Maersk is seeking a Procurement Manager to join our Logistics & Services Procurement team. In this role, you will develop procurement strategies, manage supplier relationships, lead sourcing initiatives, and drive value creation across multiple transportation and logistics categories.

Working closely with Product, Operations, Finance, Legal, and Commercial stakeholders, you will help deliver cost leadership, service excellence, and profitable growth while influencing strategic procurement

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; graduate studies preferred.
• 5+ years in procurement, transportation, logistics, or related industries.
• Experience developing procurement strategies and negotiating with suppliers.
• Strong Excel skills with data analysis.
• Experience with Power BI and familiarity with AI tools is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute procurement strategies that support business objectives and growth.
• Lead supplier negotiations, contract management, and sourcing initiatives.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with key suppliers and external partners.
• Manage RFP events and source-to-contract activities across categories and geographies.
• Analyze market trends, supplier performance, and procurement data for decision-making.
• Partner with Commercial, Operations, and Finance teams to align procurement decisions with capacity planning.
• Identify supply chain risks and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
