Job summary

Glovis America, Inc. in Duluth, GA is seeking a Senior Manager - FF Procurement to own procurement strategies for international freight forwarding and domestic transportation, and to drive cost efficiency across lanes, modes, and suppliers.

The role leads RFQ/RFP processes, negotiates terms, drafts contracts, and builds a robust supplier network while partnering with logistics, manufacturing, sales and customer service to achieve service excellence and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, business, or related field.
8–12 years of direct experience in freight forwarding, domestic transportation procurement, logistics, or related functions.
Master’s degree preferred; 10–15 years preferred.
Experience supporting complex domestic and international transportation networks.

Responsibilities

Develop procurement strategies for freight forwarding, domestic transportation, and related logistics services.
Lead RFQ, RFP, and tender processes for transportation and logistics services.
Negotiate commercial terms, pricing structures, SLAs, and contractual conditions.
Draft, review, and manage transportation and logistics contracts with stakeholders.
Monitor contract compliance and manage renewals and performance reviews.
Establish supplier KPIs and conduct regular business reviews.
Collaborate with logistics, supply chain, manufacturing, sales, and customer service teams.
