Job summary

HI Steaks seeks a Procurement Specialist to support distribution center operations by managing purchasing, inventory replenishment, purchase orders, and supplier communications to keep product availability high and logistics smooth.

You will coordinate inbound shipments, resolve receiving discrepancies, and work with finance on invoicing while using ERP/inventory systems and Excel to forecast needs and optimize stock levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business management or related field.
• Minimum of one year of experience in purchasing, inventory control, supply chain, or distribution.

Responsibilities

• Monitor inventory levels and execute replenishment plans.
• Generate and track purchase orders to ensure timely delivery.
• Communicate with vendors and internal stakeholders about orders and inventory needs.
• Coordinate inbound shipments with freight forwarders and warehouse teams.
• Resolve receiving discrepancies and shipment delays.
• Participate in vendor meetings and support procurement leadership.
• Analyze inventory trends and adjust replenishment.
• Collaborate with finance on invoices and PO reconciliation.
• Maintain inventory and supplier records and reports.
• Ensure compliance with purchasing procedures and inventory standards.
