Job summary

The Chefs' Warehouse & Allen Brothers in Dallas seeks an experienced Purchaser to coordinate inventory replenishment and drive efficient procurement across suppliers, sales, logistics and operations. You will manage the full PO process, negotiate favorable terms, and maintain essential vendor documentation to support timely deliveries.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in buying, strong Excel and ERP experience, and a proactive, team-oriented mindset suitable for a fast-paced, metrics-driven

Qualifications

• 5+ years buying experience in specialty food products.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; food distribution experience desired.
• Advanced Excel and strong analytical skills required.
• Experience with procurement systems and MS Office tools.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate purchase orders with vendors, sales, logistics and operations.
• Manage the full Purchase-to-Pay process including vendor confirmations and delivery dates.
• Maintain vendor documents (e.g., W-9s) and ensure vendor compliance.
• Negotiate volume discounts and price breaks with vendors.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to minimize spoilage and shortages.
