Howell Instruments, Inc. in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Manager of Procurement to oversee supplier relationships, purchasing processes, and material strategies that support production, engineering, repair, and customer requirements.

You will coordinate with Engineering, Quality, Production, Sales and Accounting; manage requisitions and purchase orders; monitor supplier performance; and implement controls to improve cost and lead times.

Qualificações

• BBA or equivalent from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum of 5 years of procurement, purchasing, or supply chain experience in an electronics manufacturing environment, including supervision.
• Strong decision-making, negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills; ability to lead procurement in a dynamic manufacturing setting.

Responsabilidades

• Manages supplier relationships for materials, equipment, parts, outside services, and supplies, including supplier selection and price/delivery negotiations.
• Coordinates with Engineering, Quality, Production, Sales, Accounting, and suppliers to support timely procurement.
• Oversees requisition and purchase order process, including review, quotations, negotiations, and follow-up.
• Keeps stakeholders informed of delivery status and changes that may affect production or commitments.
• Ensures critical purchases are expedited to maintain schedules and customer delivery.
• Develops procurement processes, controls, and records to standardize purchasing activities and improve supplier accountability.
• Monitors supplier performance including on-time delivery, quality, cost, and lead times.
• Analyzes purchasing activity to support cost and lead-time improvement initiatives.
