Job summary

Findtalent is seeking a Procurement Manager – Battery Energy Storage & Solar to lead strategic sourcing, negotiations, and supplier management for utility-scale projects. You will partner with engineering, construction, development, legal, and finance teams to optimize cost, quality, schedule, and risk across battery storage and solar equipment.

The role demands strong negotiating skills, analytical ability, and a track record of delivering high-value contracts in energy or infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Degree in a relevant field with strong analytical and financial acumen.
• 5+ years of procurement or strategic sourcing experience in energy, construction, manufacturing, or infrastructure.
• Proven track record negotiating high-value commercial contracts.
• Ability to evaluate commercial, contractual, technical and logistical factors.
• Experience with battery storage or solar equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end procurement for utility-scale battery storage and solar equipment.
• Develop sourcing strategies balancing cost, quality, schedule and risk.
• Manage RFQs, supplier evaluations, and vendor selection.
• Negotiate supply agreements, pricing, and contract terms.
• Oversee equipment supply contracts, logistics, QA, and related services.
• Build and maintain strategic supplier relationships.
• Monitor market trends, pricing, and supply chain developments.
• Provide procurement guidance and cost analysis during project planning.
• Collaborate with engineering, construction, legal, finance, and development teams.
• Identify commercial risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Develop procurement reporting, market intelligence and performance metrics.
• Drive continuous improvement across procurement processes and systems.
• Present commercial recommendations to leadership.
• Ensure procurement aligns with policies and project schedules.
