Job summary

CoorsTek is seeking a Buyer II to manage purchasing for an assigned plant, including raw materials, equipment, and services. You will lead cost and risk reduction initiatives through strategic sourcing and project management.

Responsibilities include issuing POs, ensuring on-time delivery, resolving PO/invoice discrepancies, analyzing spend, mitigating supply risks, and negotiating favorable terms with suppliers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, purchasing, or equivalent.
• 4+ years of buying/procurement experience.
• CPSM or similar certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Issue and manage purchase orders per policy and compliance.
• Ensure on-time delivery by coordinating with suppliers.
• Resolve invoice/PO discrepancies and work with quality on rejects.
• Analyze spend data to identify trends and insights; proficient in ERP.
• Identify supply risks; support annual risk assessments.
• Lead supplier performance discussions and corrective actions.
• Lead site-level sourcing projects using RFx processes.
• Negotiate pricing agreements and compliance with contracts.
• Drive procurement improvements and reduce transactional workload.
