Job summary

Corning Inc. is seeking a procurement and supply chain professional to drive the overall planning, implementation, and optimization of buying and delivering equipment, products, and services. The role covers procurement, supply management, inventory, logistics, and distribution.

You will lead supplier negotiations, ensure policy compliance, and support cross-location projects while maintaining KPI visibility and timely POs. A strong background in eProcurement and contract management is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• PMP, Six Sigma, Lean or CSCP certifications are a plus.
• Over 5 years of experience in supply chain operations including project implementation and process optimization.
• Expertise in forecasting, procurement, planning, warehousing, and transportation.
• Proven ability to maximize operational efficiency using ERP systems and SCM solutions.

Responsibilities

• Implement GSM strategies and procurement plans aligned with objectives.
• Lead supplier negotiations on contracts, pricing, lead times, and terms.
• Coordinate audits and ensure compliance with Global Buying Policy.
• Support plant expansion projects across locations and review SOWs.
• Manage supplier relationships, onboarding, and import/export operations.
