Job summary

Rexel USA in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Manager Region Procurement to lead a procurement team across assigned branches and distribution centers. You will oversee inventory and obsolescence management and drive key KPIs for turns and stock levels.

Responsibilities include mentoring staff, reviewing critical items, optimizing replenishment data, negotiating with suppliers, and communicating with Branches/DCs to align on goals and performance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional purchasing/buying experience in the Electrical Distribution Industry.
• Prior supervisory experience a plus.
• High School or GED - Required.
• 4 Year / Bachelor's Degree - Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor procurement team for assigned region.
• Daily review of critical items below minimum, allocations or stock outs for all responsible Branch's/DC's.
• Manage inventory profiling requests from Branches/DCs and update data in replenishment systems.
• Explain and apply purchasing practices including reviews, supplier metrics and negotiations.
• Identify areas for improvement and develop solutions.
• Communicate with Branches/DCs to align on goals and performance.
• Assist with supplier returns negotiations to reduce excess stock.
• Perform some stock procurement/replenishment for assigned branches and supplier lines.
