Goodwin Living Career Center in Alexandria, VA, is seeking an experienced purchasing/procurement professional to support supply chain activities. The role focuses on requisitions, order entry, invoice resolution, and vendor coordination within our healthcare ecosystem.

Ideal candidates will have at least 2 years in procurement, a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, strong Excel skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ direct experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Accounting, Marketing, Supply Management, or Merchandising highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes and purchasing best practices.
• Experience with ERP systems and procurement software.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office applications.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with vendors and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Receives and reviews purchase requisitions for completeness and accuracy.
• Assists with order entry ensuring accurate quantities, materials and products.
• Resolves invoices through ERP and procurement systems.
• Monitors medical supply billing and process usage reports.
• Coordinates returns, warranties, and vendor credits.
• Tracks outstanding credits through to resolution.
• Maintains accurate purchasing records and documentation.
• Communicates updates to department contacts as needed.
