Job summary

Lutheran Community Services NW is seeking a Procurement Coordinator to support efficient, cost-effective procurement across the organization based in the Seattle area. You will help ensure documentation is complete, compliance is maintained, and vendor coordination runs smoothly.

The role focuses on coordinating purchasing, maintaining audit-ready records, and identifying cost-saving opportunities while collaborating with Finance, Programs, and other departments to improve procurement processes.

Qualifications

• Two years of procurement experience in nonprofit or regulated settings.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, logistics, or related field.
• Knowledge of purchasing practices, vendor selection, and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate organization-wide purchasing and procurement activities per agency policies and budgets.
• Oversee competitive procurement processes; request quotes, proposals, bids; evaluate responses; document decisions.
