LSB Industries, Inc. in Cherokee, AL is seeking a Procurement Coordinator to support day-to-day procurement operations for the site.

You will coordinate purchasing with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, and Warehouse teams to secure materials, parts, and services for safe and reliable manufacturing. The role requires 3-5 years in procurement, proficiency with ERP (JDE preferred) and strong Excel skills, along with excellent communication and organizational abilities.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in a procurement role (preferably in a chemical plant, refinery or similar industry).
• Working knowledge of ERP Procurement module (JDE preferred).
• Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office products.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention to detail skills.

Responsabilités

• Provide first-level support for Procurement requests/issues at the site.
• Coordinate purchasing requirements with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, and Warehouse teams.
• Solicit multiple supplier quotations and evaluate pricing, availability, lead times, and delivery terms to secure best value.
• Prepare and process Purchase Orders in accordance with approved requisitions and corporate guidelines.
• Track Purchase Orders and follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and communicate updates to plant personnel.
• Maintain accurate records of Purchase Orders, supplier information, and related documentation.
• Support supplier qualification, onboarding, and performance management activities.
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, safety standards, and legal requirements.
