Job summary

CITGO Petroleum Corporation seeks a procurement professional to provide supervision and support across locations, creating and maintaining contracts (purchase orders & outlines). You will bid, negotiate, and secure materials and services at the lowest cost while ensuring quality and timely delivery, with SAP vendor setup and ongoing market analysis.

The role emphasizes supplier relationship management, cross-functional coordination, and cost-saving initiatives, with flexible remote/onsite

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field required; 4 years of supply chain experience or 8 years in lieu.
• Legal terms & conditions knowledge preferred.
• Duties may vary by site.

Responsibilities

• Review requisitions and process POs in SAP to procure materials at best price.
• Establish and maintain secure sources for required materials.
• Coordinate with client groups to evaluate supplier performance and determine alternates.
• Negotiate, execute and administer contracts and leases.
• Coordinate involved parties to ensure proper performance of contracts.
• Manage supplier base and pursue cost-saving opportunities.
• Solicit bids, develop RFPs/RFQs, and analyze proposals for best value.
