Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or 4 years of job-related experience.
• Experience with the development and execution of contracts and purchase orders.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient with SAP, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; knowledge of GEP Smart or similar e-procurement tools.
• Valid driver's license and ability to obtain TWIC credential.

Responsibilities

• Review requisitions and process purchase orders in SAP to procure materials at the most favorable price.
• Create and maintain non-complex contracts; negotiate with qualified vendors for price, delivery and quality.
• Manage supplier base and perform market analysis for evaluating and selecting new suppliers.
• Solicit bids, analyze proposals, and document bid files.
• Resolve purchasing issues and provide expediting services as needed.
• Support special projects and on-call procurement.
