Job summary

State of Florida, Department of Management Services, is seeking a Purchasing Analyst to provide procurement support and manage complex solicitations in Tallahassee. The role requires knowledge of Florida statutes, and experience with RFQs, ITBs, RFPs, and ITNs.

You will review requisitions in MFMP, draft and negotiate contract terms, and ensure compliance with applicable laws and policies. On-site position with opportunities for professional development and cross-unit collaboration.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Florida purchasing statutes and rules.
• Experience with complex competitive procurements is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide procurement support across the Department of Management Services (DMS).
• Prepare and review RFQs, ITBs, RFPs, and ITNs and ensure compliance with statutes and policy.
• Review purchase requisitions in MFMP and manage contract documents and amendments.
• Negotiate terms and pricing, and manage routing for contracts and agreements.
• Attend trainings and manage special projects while ensuring regulatory compliance.
