Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking a Procurement Buyer to support timely development of new products by procuring mechanical parts for equipment, in collaboration with development teams and partner companies.

You will design PO workflows, manage high usage inventory, analyze consumption trends, negotiate pricing, and lead cost-saving projects, with KPIs reviewed by executives. Coordinate with product, manufacturing and quality teams for smooth parts flow and attend supplier meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations or related field.
• 4+ years of procurement / supply-chain experience.
• Proficiency in inventory-management systems and Microsoft Office.
• Strong analytical, problem solving and critical-thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Purchase Order Creation & Management.
• Design and implement workflows for PO generation, approval, and fulfillment, integrating with ERP.
• Manage High Usage and Inventory.
• Analyze consumption trends to optimize stocking and reduce low usage inventory.
• Negotiate annual pricing agreements and drive project execution.
• Lead cost saving and efficiency projects with measurable impact.
• Track and report procurement KPIs for executive decision making.
• Coordinate with product, manufacturing and quality teams for smooth parts flow.
• Attend supplier and engineering meetings on procurement strategies.
