Job summary

MSI in Orange, CA is seeking a Business Process Analyst to analyze user needs, define system requirements, and create specifications that guide development, testing, and implementation. You will liaise between business units and IT to deliver effective process improvements.

This Associate, full-time role requires proficiency with Microsoft Office, basic .NET/SQL knowledge, and strong communication. Expect travel up to 25% and involvement in client integration, new business transitions, and

Qualifications

• Proficient in the Microsoft office suite of products.
• Knowledge of .Net & SQL preferred but not required.
• Demonstrated project management skills: ability to manage multiple events, and tasks, and prioritize accordingly.
• High School Education required.
• Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent work experience.
• Strong technical knowledge and strong mathematical skills.
• Self-driven, ‘can do’ attitude.
• Excellent oral and written English language communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Work cross functionally across different departments in the functional design, development, testing, implementation, and rollout of existing and new business processes.
• Serve as primary point of contact and effectively communicate with departments on the progress of implementations.
• Create and maintain training documentation for business processes.
• Make recommendations for process/software enhancements.
• Conduct preliminary investigation for all new business process requests; review requirements, specifications, test, support and training plans to ensure alignment with objectives.
• Create quality reporting, analysis and audits to measure success of implementations.
• Help ensure new system requirements/enhancements/changes are tested and delivered in a timely manner.
• Other tasks may include: support other project testing, running reports and data pulls for audits, and recommending improvements to the development team.
• Travel 25% locally, occasionally nationally and/or internationally.
