Job summary

Motley Rice is seeking a Business Systems & Process Analyst to partner with firm leadership, legal staff, and IT teams. You will gather requirements, map processes, and design system improvements that align with Firm goals while ensuring data quality and reliable reporting.

You will support testing, training, and rollout of changes, monitor outcomes, and maintain thorough process documentation to promote consistency and confidentiality across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, information systems, computer science, legal operations, or related field.
• 5+ years of direct experience in business analysis, process analysis, requirements gathering, or reporting; law firm or professional services preferred.
• Relevant certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA, Six Sigma, Lean, Power Platform, Power BI are a plus.
• Experience supporting technology implementations, system enhancements, and user adoption.

Responsibilities

• Conduct data analysis, stakeholder interviews, workflow reviews, and process mapping to identify obstacles and opportunities for improvement.
• Translate business needs into clear requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and implementation documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process and system changes with minimal disruption.
• Coordinate with IT development and application teams for solution design, testing, release readiness, and post-implementation review.
• Create and maintain process documentation, SOPs, workflow diagrams, training content, and business rules.
