Job summary

LUMA Energy in San Juan, Puerto Rico seeks a PMO/Process Improvement professional to analyze and optimize project management processes, maintaining standards and ensuring compliance. You will design future-state processes, monitor improvements, and coordinate with business process owners to drive efficiency.

The role requires experience in process improvement, project management, data analysis, and Six Sigma/Lean methods, with strong communication in English and Spanish.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration or related field.
• 3 years’ experience in technical writing or working with documents, policies, SOP creation and implementation.
• 3 years’ experience in process improvement.
• 1 year of experience in project management.
• Experience in data analysis, reporting, process improvement, business strategic support and other analytical functions.
• Experience using business systems or analytic platforms.
• Experience with Six Sigma and Lean management.
• Experience in energy utility or EPC environment would be asset.
• PMO experience would be asset.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates, documents, and maintains PMO processes, standards, and procedures and identifies gaps.
• Measures performance and recommends optimizations to strengthen operational effectiveness.
• Designs and maintains process assets, standards, and procedures reflecting current needs.
• Monitors processes and tools to identify improvement opportunities and tracks effectiveness.
• Identifies regulatory gaps and ensures recommendations are integrated and compliant.
• Reports progress to the Senior Manager, PMO and maintains stakeholder relationships.
• Prepares training content for workshops on new or modified processes.
• Supports implementation of Project Management software tools and data analytics needs.
• Follows company policies and participates in storm restoration tasks as needed.
